Hela Storytellas is the flagship journey through which Aje Telo Money is taking form. What began as an intimate financial literacy gathering has evolved into a broader money systems platform — one that asks not only how people make money, but what allows money to move, scale and shape possibility.
What Hela Storytellas has become
Hela Storytellas started in 2023 as a financial literacy event series. It created space for people to ask practical money questions, engage financial experts and reflect on what money means in everyday life.
Over time, the project revealed a bigger question: beyond personal finance, what actually enables money to move at scale? That shift opens the project into a fuller systems frame around capital, rails, liquidity, access, trust, participation and economic design.
From Edition 6, Aje Telo adopts Hela Storytellas more directly into its own architecture as a flagship Aje Telo Money platform.

From financial literacy into money systems
In its earlier form, Hela Storytellas focused on helping audiences build confidence around money conversations. That work mattered. But it also pointed beyond itself.
The stronger question became: what lies behind individual money experience? What makes capital available? What gives it velocity? What shapes access, confidence and scale?
That is the shift Aje Telo is now making more explicit. Hela Storytellas is no longer only a literacy event. It is becoming a story-led money systems platform.
Money is not only earnings. It is the architecture of movement, access and scale.
Hela Storytellas helps make that architecture more visible. It uses story, dialogue and live expression to translate complex money systems into something people can understand, feel and enter.
